Greetings from Texas!
To start things of, it is a very long story of how I was able to come out west. I was actually supposed to be in North Carolina with my best friends for the week. But God had other plans, as you can see. :)

You don't know how much I desire(ed) for your sweet fellowship, and I know that God will reward you by us having an even sweeter and deeper time of fellowship when we get together next time! I love you!*
Well, things have been a bit slow lately, but definitely far from boring! It is spring break, so I have been in Albuquerque, NM and /Lubbock, TX visiting my dads Uncle and Aunt and his cousins along with their beautiful children. I am currently in Texas with my mom visiting my sister Rachel and her lovely little family. It has been such a joy to be able to spend this time renewing acquaintances and bonding with my nephew Reilly. What a precious child little Reilly is! (photos will be up and coming shortly)
Now looking at the title of this post, you must wonder, "huh?"...the answer is that I am doing this wonderful program for my quiet time called "Bible in 90 Days". I like to liken the program to a cross country trip, you drive and drive, and you begin to see connections of all the places, and the like. So, I am currently in the Prophets and I have been rediscovering yet even another side of our wonderful God. I am seeing His as my Mighty Warrior King!

Joel 2:25,26
So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame.
Amos 5:8
He made the Pleiades and Orion; He turns the shadow of death into morning qnd makes the day dark as night; He calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the face of the earth; The Lord is His name.
Habakkuk 3
A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet, on Shigionoth. O LORD, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years! They came out like a whirlwind to scatter me; their rejoicing was like feasting on the poor in secret. You walked through the sea with Your horses, through the heap of great waters. When I heard, my body trembled; my lips quivered at the voice; rottenness entered my bones; and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble. When he comes up to the people, He will invade them with his troops.
It has been so exciting getting to know my Savior on a different side. I love what C.S. Lewis, author of the beloved childrens book series The Chronicles of Narnia wore in "The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe":
“Is – is he a man?” asked Lucy. “Aslan a man!” said Mr. Beaver sternly. “Certainly not. I can tell you he is the King of the wood and the son of the great Emporer-Beyond-the-Sea … Aslan is a lion – The Lion, The great Lion.” “Ooh,” said Susan, “I thought he was a man. Is he – quite safe? I shall feel rather nervous about meeting a lion.” “That you will, dearie, and make no mistake,” said Mrs. Beaver, “if there’s anyone who can appear before Aslan without their knees knocking, they’re either braver than most or else just silly.” “Then he isn’t safe?” said Lucy. “Safe?” said Mr. Beaver, “don’t you hear what Mrs. Beaver tells you? Who said anything about safe?” Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good. He’s the King I tell you".And this is the Savior that we serve! Oh He is so wonderful, yet so powerful that Heaven cannot contain this Glorious One. He is constantly fighting the battle for our hearts, and one day, satan will be vanquished and Jesus will be King!!
I await the day that You return, my Jesus.
So not only is He the love of my life, and the Prince of my existence, of which He is everything, He is also truly my Knight in Shining Armor, my Mighty Warrior King conquering the depths of every human heart!
